Tarang is DAU's Navratri

Every year the campus turns into a garba ground. Tarang is the university's flagship Navratri event: three nights of live music, dandiya and raas, open under the sky.

Come dressed for it. Chaniya choli, kediyu, mirror-work, the loudest bandhani you own. The circle only gets bigger as the night goes on.

Questions

Who can attend Tarang?

Anyone with a valid pass. Carry your pass for entry. Re-entry will not be possible in the ground.

Can I buy a pass at the gate?

Yes, passes will be available at the gate.

Are children allowed? Is there an age limit?

The event is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult to ensure safety and comfort.

Are pets allowed at the event?

No, animals aren't allowed in the college.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited inside the venue. It will be provided on the ground.

Can I bring my own dandiya?

Yes, dandiya sticks are allowed.

Is there a dress code?

Traditional wear is encouraged: chaniya choli, kediyu, kurta. Wear shoes you can dance in for hours.

Is parking available?

Parking will not be available on campus. Do not park on the main road.
